Capcom has officially unveiled the ninth mainline installment of its iconic survival horror franchise. Titled Resident Evil Requiem, the game is set for release in February 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Building on the momentum of recent remakes and the success of Resident Evil Village, this new chapter aims to push the series into darker, more experimental territory.

The central figure of Resident Evil Requiem is a brand-new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, whose story is poised to bring a fresh perspective to the franchise’s ongoing narrative of bioterror and survival. Early details suggest Grace will be thrust into a remote coastal setting plagued by strange disappearances, grotesque creatures, and a sinister corporate experiment gone wrong.
